The second-hand marketplace Members Express Frustration Regarding Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for women's and children's garments without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The company said the revised method more closely matches similar services.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Updates
Before the change, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Required Changes
A different user, located in England, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: previously, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
